Desk or table clock, French 8 days, time and strike, movement with hour repeating, Roman numeral silvered dial with engraved, gilt mask, blued steel fleur de lis hands, the case with lis glasses and in the form of a sedan chair, the cast case decorated with faux repousse ornament in the rococo style and with fleur de lis finial, and with removable carrying handles, c1890
CONDITION:
Case good, with minor wear, dial and mask good, hands with rust, minute replaced, front glass with chip, runs and strikes, repeat function added to time and strike clock, snail mounted to hour wheel, and so will not repeat the correct hour as the next hour approaches, Ht 11"
